Summer morning

The morning shadows have slowly retreated towards the house, the air has lost its friendly chill nip on the skin and the small tissue-paper clouds gathering in the sky have been fading. Now it is too dazzling to read, too hot to sit without shade and, all too soon, the white hints in the sky will burn off to a brilliant blue.
